Mr. Beale has primarily represented the needs of small to medium size businesses and their owners, the sizes of which range from start-ups to companies with over $100 million in sales. His practice encompasses all types of corporate, partnership, employment and commercial agreements, including leases, property purchases, and financing agreements. He is able to work with clients who have sole proprietorships as well as partnerships, limited liability companies (LLCs) and corporations, and to guide them through the intricacies of, incorporation, corporate document requirements, licenses, fictitious names, employment agreements, bylaws, operating agreements, shareholder and membership agreements, voting agreements, buy-sell agreements, confidentiality and non-compete agreements, mergers and acquisitions and creditors rights. Mr. Beale can give guidance on and prepare various types of commercial agreements, including sales, distribution, leases of all types, vendor, and all types of services agreements. In the technological area, Mr. Beale has expertise in software license and development agreements, as well as website development agreements. He is also experienced in negotiation, settlement and litigation of any commercial dispute.
On a personal level, Mr. Beale can advise and counsel on all types of matters, including wills, trusts, health surrogates, powers of attorney, living wills, qualified income trusts, personal service contracts and other senor care matters, as well as and probate, real estate, leases, and debtors and creditors rights. When a client’s need arises, he works with the best attorneys in the fields of matrimonial, personal injury and litigation practices. When real estate closings are needed, Mr. Beale works with local title companies.
David A. Beale is a graduate of Cornell University and Fordham Law School (J.D. Law Review). He is a member of the New York Bar (1975) and Florida Bar (1990). Mr. Beale is rated “AV” by Martindale-Hubbell. He is currently on the Delray Chamber Board of Directors and is Vice Chair of Advocacy/Government Affairs. He is also President of Pineapple Grove Arts District. He is a former Chair of the Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority.
